From New York ニューヨークより 2

ニューヨークより、アジアウィークでの展示風景が届きました。

Here are a few pictures from the Asia Week exhibition in New York.

今回は、特に信楽焼（写真 一番左／室町時代）の人気が高いそうです。

It seems that one of the most popular pieces was the Muromachi period Shigaraki jar, which can be seen on the far left.



志野もいいですよ

The Shino ware was nice too!




我らが埴輪さんもがんばっています。

Our haniwa figure, doing his best and minding the entrance.




暖炉の上に縄文土偶たちが並べられています。

The small Jōmon period dogū heads were lined up above the fireplace.



暖炉があるって･･･　外国ですね！！

"アンティーク"と言ってみたくなります。
展示の仕方によってまた違ってみえてくることがよくわかりました。

A fireplace... you can't see that in Japan everyday!

I feel like I've come to understand that how you see things can completely change depending on the way you display them. Here they have an almost Western "antique" feel.

アジアウィークも、もうまもなく終了です。
